Grace, Again: A Letter to the Woman Who Keeps Trying to Earn What’s Already Hers
My Beautiful Friend,
This isn’t a blog post. It’s a letter.

For the days you feel like you’re spinning… but not actually moving.
For the moments when grace feels like a pretty word on paper — not the comfort your soul is aching for.
For when you’re hustling for worth, love, or approval — not realizing God already gave it to you.
Let’s be real…
How many times a day do you treat yourself like the precious daughter of the Most High King?
I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely my worst critic.
(Something tells me you’re nodding along, saying, “Me too.”)
Would you agree that:
- criticizing
- self-sabotaging
- condemning
- guilt
- shame
- low self-worth…
…are all rooted in the same lie?
Sadly, we’ve gotten real good at beating ourselves up.
But that is no way to treat a daughter — bought at the highest price — through the great love and grace of Jesus’ death on the cross.
They say value is determined by the price tag on something.
Well, sis, your value is beyond measure.
You were bought at the most expensive rate ever.
Jesus laid down His life for you. ♥️
Grace is giving people what they need, even when they don’t deserve it. Starting with yourself…

And yes, that includes you.
It means that no matter how short you fall, God’s grace doesn’t flinch when you mess up. It doesn’t pull away when you fall short. It keeps coming — again and again — with open arms. His love for you is relentless.
It doesn’t matter how deep the sin… Grace will ALWAYS win.
Can we just take a moment to say THANK YOU JESUS and give Him praise for His goodness, mercy, love, and faithfulness?
To understand grace — we must first understand the heart of God — the nature of God.

He is not holding out on you.
He is not keeping score.
He is compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in love.
And the second part?
It’s recognizing our own brokenness.
We all fall short.
Not just in life, not just in business, but in our walk with God.
But that’s exactly where grace shows up.
Here’s the beautiful part…
You don’t have to stay stuck in that brokenness.
And you don’t have to hustle for grace.
The moment you actually believe this — like, deep down in your bones — you can finally drop the pressure to be perfect:
To look a certain way — like fitting into a specific dress size or having flawless skin.
To be a certain way — like always being calm, confident, or successful.
To have this, that, or the other — like the perfect house, career, or bank account.
Because grace already covered all of it.
Every time you started over… again. Every awkward pitch. Every time you said the wrong thing or froze up instead of showing up — grace covers all of it.
And it gives you the strength to walk by the Spirit.
To do the hard things.
To show yourself the same kindness God shows you.
Listen…
This is coming from someone who’s struggled with body image distortion, thought very little of myself — and then finally surrendered and let grace in.
I stopped chasing worth and started believing what God already said about me.
And now I’m refusing to let you forget who you are:
You can stand firm in your daughtership, knowing that the One who created you calls you loved, redeemed, and enough.
His grace covers every failure, every fear, and every weakness.
And yet…
We forget. We spiral. We doubt.
So write this TRUTH down somewhere visible — on a sticky note, your mirror, or save this image on your phone lock screen — and let it preach to you daily:
“I am not defined by my mistakes, but by God’s grace. I am His.”

Before your next workday starts, pause and pray:
“Lord, guide me today. Help me to do this work for Your glory and trust Your grace in every decision.”
At the end of the day, ask yourself…
How did God’s favor carry me?
Where did grace meet me today — even in my business?
Let that settle your heart.
Because when you focus on God first…
everything else falls into place.
And on the days when you mess up?
When you numb out, overwork, overeat, overscroll…
When you hear that voice again: “You should know better by now…”
Take a breath.
The Holy Spirit didn’t leave.
He’s as forgiving as ever — steady, present, whispering truth over the lies.
And if Christ is gracious to forgive you, then sister — please, let that be enough.
Ask Him to slow you down enough to notice what’s really going on inside.
To show you what’s underneath the guilt — the fear, the pressure, the perfectionism — and help you see the growth He’s actually producing in you.
Because His goodness is greater.
His comfort and love blow any pint of ice cream out the water (and I say that with full Häagen-Dazs Double Belgium Chocolate Chip authority).
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
2 Corinthians 12:9
Let me lovingly say this…
When you obsess over your imperfections, you’re acting like you’re the one in control.
But the truth is…
You’re not…
You’re weak and vulnerable — and that’s not a flaw.
It’s an invitation to stand behind a mighty God who equips you!
Anything you accomplish is by His power made perfect in you.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
Please remember this…
Grace is a gift.
You don’t earn it. You just receive it.
And there’s always more where that came from.
When you go to God in prayer, He’ll meet you there. Every. single. time.
Don’t worry about what you “deserve” —
grace means getting more than you ever could deserve.
So breathe that in.
You are His.
You are enough.
And grace is still the answer.
Next Steps…
Grace isn’t just a concept — it’s your daily permission slip to live FREE.
So here’s how to let that truth guide your rhythm…
- Say it out loud: “I am not defined by my mistakes, but by God’s grace. I am His.”
- Start your workday surrendered: Before opening your laptop, pause and pray: “Lord, guide me today. Help me to do this work for Your glory and trust Your grace in every decision.”
- End your day with reflection: Ask yourself, “Where did I experience God’s grace today?” Write it down — even if it was something small.
- Post this verse somewhere visible: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Remember: You don’t have to earn what’s already been given. Grace is still the answer.
Let’s pray…
Lord, thank You for Your endless grace. Thank You for loving me even when I drop the ball — when I’m tired, messy, inconsistent, or not my best. Thank you for showing me I don’t have to strive to be enough — I already am, in You. Help me walk in the truth of who You say I am: chosen, equipped, and lavishly loved. Let that truth shape how I speak, create, serve, and lead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Love,
Wanda
